How long before maga claims the increase in insurance price isn’t because they cut anything, rather because thy kicked off so many illegals, that insurance companies have to charge more as millions fewer customers.

Program log file (I wrote the program) so most entries are virtually identical. Take out he datetime and distinct it, probably only a few thousand lines. Break those into words, and like all but 1 word is different

Main reason is I view games as an extension of life, sort of like a trial run of actual real life situations. Almost a "what if" scenario for life.

In a game, you can explore morality. In life, there's consequences. Sometimes in games too, but it's limited to the game only.

I really wonder if people would consider them different if those characters were men, instead of women. Like as a percentage thing. Like would the impressions of their actions flip if the gender was.

It's like manipulating others, winding back decisions, using powers to get ahead is totally good and wholesome if you're the one doing it--evil if others do. Hell, V acts like judge, jury and executioner depending (granted with the father son team with the vids, eh not counting that)

Now I'm trying to think of other games that are similar to this kind of format.

From Life is Strange series: rachel, chloe, safi... but the leads in the true colors, and max... are so much worse, even with "V" in cyberpunk (depending, but the player controls them in all)

I kind of view him as dead on the inside since... probably birth. He acts like he's never been loved and doesn't grasp it.

All his "love" displays are like a mockery or an alien trying to mimic human behavior.

Similar with me in a way. I have a stepson because of meeting someone*

* meaning we were content sharing a house, but in case the kid gets injured, something at school, etc--I might have more abilities than just "roomate"

I don't know wtf is wrong with edge on one user's computer. But it has items disabled for pdfs (for auto opening, and others as a test)

Gmail. Click attachment PDF.
Edge downloads it to downloads, then auto-opens in adobe.
Click file in downloads, opens in edge.

Default pdf viewer is chrome.

🧵The old one didn't monitor the tasks, so just adding that, then altering the comparison code for "is this known and ok" or "holy hell we're screwed, isolate machine ASAP" didn't allow for paths like "\\?\c:\" or even "\windows\" or things like that.

🧵Company rejected buying server licenses for us to use the new server (that is the replacement for our financial software) so now no one can use the new. Also rejected was using Win 11 Enterprise to bypass the need of that which was cheaper.

Also rejected was the ESU for win10 (600 first year)

🧵Company rejected my listing for replacement computers for the win10 ones. One of them is over 10 years old and is dying as it is (it is a mini-pc, with a HDD and 8gb of ram. processor/HDD is at 100% whenever you open a browser even. Then the memory jumps to 95% full with HDD/processor still at 100%

🧵Past few days, cameras 1-3 (as 4 was "missing") were black and white like a mask. Then grey.

Today? No cameras are up.

Unplugged, waiting a minute, plugged in. It doesn't even have an ip anymore. It's totally dead.

I know they won't be replaced, been 2 years.

Then the broken camera started working, but a working camera feed totally disappeared (feed id for camera 4 was showing camera 3, and all feeds but cam 1 & 2 showed 3)

🧵Finally had enough and just did my own system on a unused server that we were keeping "in case we need it!" (seriously it's like 12-15 years old, not of use in the normal sense for anything today, nor supported windows versions--it has linux).

Only one dome camera worked.
