I’m in Palm Springs, CA, at Benevity Live for a plenary panel on Nonprofits at a Crossroads: the Way Forward. I urged the audience of 1500 corporate donors to use their positions of power/privilege to speak out, fund, and advocate to protect nonprofits in this time of existential threats.

The Trump admin is freezing $ appropriated by Congress to reduce lead in water fountains in schools/daycares, weatherize homes & lower utility bills of low-income Americans, maintain green spaces in disadvantaged communities, reduce risk of wildfires. This harms many and benefits none.
