Government shutdowns like the one about to happen in the USA do not occur in Canada. Our parliamentary system has a fail-safe to ensure civil service continues even if there is no budget. If the ruling party cannot pass a budget, the government falls triggering an immediate election.

Duh. Both the escalator and the Teleprompter issues were caused by Trump’s own staff. Incompetent Trump and the incompetent people he surrounds himself with.

Don’t forget in May of 2017 Kimmel was the unlikely leader of the counter-crusade to save the ACA from Republican efforts to repeal & replace the health insurance system. Kimmel is a really good man for how he helped the fight against Republicans trying to take away people’s healthcare.

It also causes inflation. Inflation hurts the poor and middle class by making prices for everyday goods rise but of course Trump does not care about people nor the price of “old fashioned groceries”. Trump only cares about the obscenely wealthy.

It is deliberate policy to devalue the dollar. Trump said “You make a hell of a lot more money with a weaker dollar,” he told reporters recently. “When you have a strong dollar, you can’t sell anything. It’s only good for inflation, and it’s good psychologically. It makes you feel good.”
