Me:
- How much time do you have?

This wave of bipolar disorder going around making people uncertain of what they've been doing in an industry that's been around for ~20 years is concerning.

IT'S NOT AN EVOLUTION IF THERE'S NOTHING DIFFERENT TO IT!

I guess Page Indexing Coverage in GSC is stuck on "Last updated: 12/07/2025"

My heartfelt support for all in-house SEOs being bombarded with questions from their teams about some article they read written by a random GEO/AIO/LEO scam artist.

Some days, my LinkedIn feed is so old, I can see SEOs posting about how Altavista might be a DMOZ killer!

This is what I've come across on X, from someone recommending "How to do LEO (LLM Engine Optimization) for your startup"

If this is not old school SPAM, I don't know what is

It’s still SEO!

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

If you received one of these on the left, you can do a test and verify your GSC bulk exports are still working.

This message is just a byproduct from GCP outage yesterday.

Actually, a reminder—Do you know what matters most? Talk to your users

I'm expecting any AI Mode data potentially coming to GSC will very likely be anonymised

Google let the Ads team run core search; made everything to max out ad profits in detriment of organic, including allegedly degrading results.
Now, they're reaping the results

I've named my NAS "Ganymede"

Anyone experiencing data issues in Google Search Console for sudden drops in average position, but only visible at an unfiltered level?

Ex, if I exclude branded terms, for which I rank, the drop in average position is not visible.

Google unifying the way they serve results, from using ccTLDs to the .com domain, DOESN'T change anything regarding internationalisation, the need for proper internationalisation architecture, or the use of HREFLANG

There are actually very few reasons where links should default to open in a new window without a specific user action.

Have you ever worked on a website where GSC Live Testing is blocked from Google's side? This has been my life for quite some time, and while it's challenging and makes your life VERY difficult, it's not impossible. It makes you think of other ways to live test and debug.

In case you missed my thoughts on the future of SEO last week:

"Users are increasingly becoming “supervisors” of search tasks, while AI systems will increasingly become the users and carry out time consuming and research intensive tasks"

-- Link in the original post
I've just rambled a bit: "GEO, LEO and the Future of SEO"
"There are a lot of buzzwords being pushed around in the digital marketing space right now. Some stemming from attempts at trying to understand what kind of changes the new waves of AI systems will bring..."
