for various reasons, here are 3 ways to measure movement speed: 30ft/6s, 6yards/6s, and 6m/6s. savage worlds uses a yard which is approximately 0.9 of a meter.
as a canadian its hard to picture a yard but its real easy to picture a meter. i think 1m/s is a fairly appropriate speed for most folk
