The scope of the problem is so vast that most people are realizing intuitively it means there is no reforming these systems of power and they must be destroyed. But no one knows how to wrestle with those ideas yet.

I don't think it serves our interests to call this an American issue that is leaking to us. Canada has our own deeply ingrained longstanding fascist oriented population and several of them have been influential in the US movement as much as the other way around

In bigger cities sure. Suburban Malls, small town movie theaters, and local music stores more or less vanished. Besides the point that teenagers have way less buying power with their minimum wage jobs to plan things independently.

I have never cared one tiny bit for anything the Kardashians do or do not do, but why not dunk on people who are trying to make life worse for everyone else to their own benefit rather than misguided celebrities who are at least trying to do good on their own merit?

I think it's even simpler than that. These guys are staunch Republicans but they are at least literate and educated enough to know how tariffs work. The media blitzes might work on voters but there is still a core fundamental truth that American citizens pay these tariffs that can't be messaged away
