They say a lot of words, they look very smart, they assure they are important, they... Just click over Shulman videos, she talks and talks and talks non-stop for hours! But in fact they have nothing to do with politics as that needs real actions. They are just popular bloggers and nothing more

Shulman is so afraid that even while staying outside russia in Berlin she still starts her video with "foreign agent" disclaimer enforced by russian government. This is the problem with all russian opposition: they are miserable, they are not able, they are afraid, they are not open and alienated

Here comes New Year's congratulations video from so-called russian opposition politic Ekaterina Shulman where she kinda pretends to be a president of russia. She is so in opposition that she does even mentions putin, repressions, not to say war. Instead she praises waiting as heroism and struggle.

I was studying religions as part of history at school. That already introduces them not as a dogma, but as a system of beliefs in context of this particular culture and relations to other cultures and religions, myths, its historical changes, influences, branches, movements.
January 6, 2026 at 9:08 PM
I don't think you can entirely avoid it, it is the basis of the culture anyway, so why not introduce kids to myths, so the know the references from movies and books. From this point of view Greek or Nordic mythology is not much different from Islam or Christianity.
January 6, 2026 at 9:08 PM
I would agree, but the problem is that kids will have religion around, from their parents or from their neighborhood, or they might just meet someone in the street. So I think it is still better if it is introduced at school with correct critical views on it from the very beginning.
January 6, 2026 at 8:19 PM
It is not enough to teach about love in religion. School has to teach critical thinking first of all. To understand other people one has to be able to analyze, compare, criticize, and asking hard questions with tricky answers first of all.
January 5, 2026 at 10:08 PM
Religion at school should start from those topics:
- inquisition and execution of Giordano Bruno
- witch hunts
- crusades
- women rights in Afghanistan
- faith police in Malaysia
- ayatollah regime in Iran
- christian nationalism

And only then kids should learn that faith is about wisdom and love

Music is more than just notes or skil to play them, it is feeling, emotions, expression in the purest of its kind. It does not matter how technically skilled you are if you cannot bring this emotions to your listeners.
November 22, 2025 at 12:02 PM
I occasionally click on music shorts in YouTube, and it strikes me a lot how much people are obsessed with technical complexity of this or that piece of music completelly forgetting that music brings joy to the listener. Some amazing compositions are technically simple but still genius melodically

To be serious, if someone tells you that the only achievement of Eurome in recent years are plastic caps attached to the bottles, that immediately smells dogshit. Actually, it is very sad to see a video from her so full of anti-European propaganda. Time to unsubscribe, this influencer is broken

What the HELL is wrong with Sabine? She not only has no clue about amount of European science and high tech (surprisingly, AI is not the only tech humanity produces), but as well she says she would move to the UK... Which means she has no idea what goes on here (or was it just a sarcasm, don't know)

Now it seems probable that real implementation of Squid Game may really exist. On lonely distant island near some poor country. With all blood, deaths, VIPs, bets and high stakes. I have no arguments why it should not or does not.

The wider picture of modern human hunt can be imagined with this article about investigation on rich people paying to come to Bosnia to shoot civilians.

As well, we are wondering now if one can buy such a tour to russian army to chase people with FPV drone accross front line in Ukraine

But in fact this just shows that despite all struggles we are still there: classes, descrimination and racism, human traffic and slavery, Epstein files, social media bullshit, that is all just the old same hierarchy, races for power, closed clubs and invisible walls all arount everyone.

At the other hand this shows actually archaic class structure of the British society. Everyone knows their place, everyone knows borders they are not allowed to cross, wears uniform and participates in rites according to their class.
November 16, 2025 at 2:26 PM
Despite happy faces of the people in the video, these rich riders in uniform, this entire hunt ceremony freaks me out. It is so out of modern world, it is so long way back from all democratic and societal advances of last two centuries. I just don't understand why this still happens!

This is a perfect case of failed product management. We use Vinted a bit and I can confirm: new size system made search entire mess.

And for worse, instead of admit the mistake, roll back and learn from it, company decided to bulshit its users with "we did deep research and that is what you need"

The friend of my daughter told her our dishwasher is a sign of a luxury life as well as full fridge because we just did shopping for a week.

At the same time, she has an iPhone and her family has a car and their mother or aunt go shopping a bit every day. Which I consider a luxury myself.

They say modern schools now are being designed to be more personalized and take care of everyone. I am totally support this for primary schools, which should indeed ensure basis and love to learning as such. But secondary schools should give more opportunities to hard and deep work for those who can

When I say actuall content is miserable, too easy or too spotty and not designed to provide systematic knowledge on any subject, people en masse don't even understand what I am talking about!

Along this UK does not give gifted kids possibility to learn subjects in depth. Such kids should go to grammar schools (being not closed, one's left had higher pass rate than Cambridge) or private schools or at least private tutoring.
