90$ is the cost if you want to buy the DLC since it’s not included in the switch 2 version (big L from nintendo)

i believe from what’s been announced so far it’s 10$ to upgrade for BOTW, TOTK and metroid prime 4 which are basically just upgraded graphics and performance

and 20$ packs for mario party and kirby (which do add new content)

wonder if they’ll add more upgrade packs in the future…

a snippet from an IGN article on Breath of the Wild: Switch 2 Version reading: “That might sound like a no-brainer, but let me explain. Since the announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2's games and their pricing last week, there's been no end to the confusion about how it's all going to work. What we currently know is that if you already own The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Switch, you can play that same game on your Nintendo Switch 2, including with the DLC if you've already purchased it, no problem.”

ohhh and the DLC isn’t included so that’s where the 90$ price tag comes from

$60 full game (has not gone down in value)

$10 upgrade pack (graphical upgrade, some new app functionality??)

$20 DLC (ngl this is a big L)
