The Senate just approved the Cotton–Gillibrand amendment (S.Amdt.3759) to expand the Pentagon’s legal authority under 10 U.S.C. §130i to detect, seize, disable, or destroy unauthorized unmanned aircraft (including possible UAPs) over or near U.S. military and critical facilities.

Unfortunately, this would not stop UFO- or UAP-related perception management or psychological operations conducted by the Pentagon or intelligence agencies, as those activities fall under separate defense and intelligence authorities.
