I said it with Claire Obscure, but Silksong hit me just as hard. I'm really at odds of which one I'd say is better? I love them for their own reasons and truth be told I will not pick one over the other.

I could try and speed run and do Steel Soul, but I think I'm going to relax and take it all in.

It was a different world and time... If I remember correctly? I think sch was also the only job in the game that could AoE raise with their accension stratagem - so long as people were okay taking raise II instead of III. lolol

They also had a unique perk called stratagems where they could alter spells. Like turning single target into AoE or they could pool mana reserves by using a large chunk of their mp out of combat and storing it for a quick recharge later in while in combat. Kinda like Lucid in xiv but it was instant.

Scholars were incredible in XI. The had Two grimoires where they could swap stances. Either white magic or black magic. They had a huge list of spells and could cast magic just shy one tier less than what a full blooded white or blackmage could cast. Example Whm knew Cure VI. Sch could get Cure V --

I legit miss those days... Scholar being like a more spell tutored Redmage with the ability to swap between White and Black mage. Heck, just even being able to equip a dagger was cool for RP.

Don't even get me started on Puppetmaster or Bluemage. I could write a whole novel about that damn game...
