I am grateful for the block button on here. If someone even mildly annoys me, block. Life is too stressful to deal with people that are trying to explain how things in Project 2025 are inevitable. They are only inevitable if people sit back and do nothing. Fighting locally is empowering.

Definitely, all part of project 2025. But the thing is, the majority don't want these things. Only his deep cultist base. Even some of them work in public schools and would be so confused as to what is happening and why. Once issues go local, I think it can wake ppl up on both sides to fight back.

Maybe but when the state tried to turn state parks into money making machines, bipartisan outrage shamed them into backing down. It is only if their actual voters push back that we can have a chance.

People had no idea this passed until their counties received letters requesting to take over schools at taxpayer expense. It seems like the outrage is bipartisan and I am hoping people push back to get this reversed. DeSantis has been destroying anything good in this state and some are waking up.

Oh ffs every time I think these commissioners are reasonable, despite all being GOP, they go and do something like this. Just complete pandering, not to mention offensive. What did Kirk do for this community other than help spread division??? How does this make women, LGBTQ and minorities feel?

People should be outraged and call their reps. DeSantis is a sitting duck. If people rallied together and fought this like they did with that horrendous hotels on State Park land proposal, they may actually back down.
