2018. 7 yrs before selling the company & recording studio. This was my office. I loved & hated that place. It was a 2200 sq ft empty shell we built out. Sound stages, sound booths, green screen, offices, 2 radio stations, even a kitchen for cooking shows & shower for costume changes.

I think people are getting stuck on the term AI. It would be Magel Barrett's voice - AI would be used to string together new dialog from existing recordings.

It would be Magel Barrett's voice. My husband is a voice over artist & he was paid to give his voice to an AI character. He had to say a bunch of words that the computer used to create a virtual version of his voice ... there's enough samples of Majel's voice that it could be done with her as well.

Well, Magel died in 2008, so she can no longer do it, but her voice can still be used. That was the whole point of the post. :)

Hey Star Trek Universe, Let's put AI to good use. Let's bring back Majel Barrett's voice to the Enterprise computer (and all Star trek technology). I know it can be done, and it would be a fitting use of new technology.
