BC I was non-ambulatory, I gained weight, so I have them on my right thigh and hip pretty bad (mine present very purple dt my fair complexion). I haven't gained any more weight but I have lost a few pounds recently so maybe it's that. But I'm on new supplements so it could be hormonal too... LoL 🪦

LoL That's not really how they work... 😂😭 They won't just go away bc they are tears in connective skin, nerves.

I have some on my outer thighs that have faded and healed but I have fresh ones from my most recent stroke. Apparently they can itch from hormonal changes, weight loss, or weight gain. 🤷

I've finally figured out why my knee-jerk reaction is anger whenever Dad says Mom "can't help (her) behavior."

I'm mad with myself it took me this long to realize... it's bc growing up ND meant there were lots of ways/behaviors I couldn't help either but I was always held accountable &/or punished.

So I added Italian seasonings and a touch of cinnamon to the veggies in the crockpot.

Then we added them to the roast for the oven. He sprinkled seasoned salt and pepper on the roast. I spooned the veggie juices over top.

Turned out very well; tender veggies, married flavors. A good collaboration.

He cracks me up bc I know he's trying, he wants to try new stuff, but then he just... idk, man. and he doesn't pay attention to portions at all either when he does it.

AuDHD time blindness is the weirdest thing...

Sometimes it's basic, glossing over days or weeks between events and tasks, but sometimes when fixated, it just blacks-out everything around me and I feel like time is flying when it's only been thirty minutes? etc. It doesn't follow a $&%?ing ruleset.

Dad does this thing where he sees a recipe idea on his phone and then just wings it~ but he's not a skilled enough improv cook to actually do that (no hate, just fact). So he put onions, carrots, potatoes, and apples in the crockpot (cool!) with... chicken stock, and nothing else. LOL (uncool.)
