Karl-Anthony Towns has been talking all postseason about how the Knicks want to make history.

New York is the first team in NBA history to come back and win three games when trailing by 20 points in a single postseason.
The Knicks are the talk of the town and take the front page and the back page after coming back from down 20 points to beat the Pacers in Game 3.

-Knicks overcome double-digit deficit to beat Boston in Game 1
-Dennis Schroeder go ahead 3 to win Game 2

X being down is a great reminder of the importance of building your social presence across multiple platforms.

The NFL reporters who took the time to invest in other platforms like Bluesky benefit today as they break news and build audience.

RIP Gene Hackman.

The Oscar winner is easily on the Mount Rushmore of actors to play coaches in sports movies with his roles in Hoosiers and The Replacements.

How did Nike actually land Michael Jordan and why didn’t Adidas sign LeBron?

These were two of the many topics I covered in this fascinating conversation with Sonny Vaccaro and Armen Keteyian in my latest @nypostsports.bsky.social interview.

Steph Curry’s botched Nike presentation that paved the way to him leaving for Under Armour and the Luka Doncic trade are two of the most seismic basketball events of the past 15 years.

Both were orchestrated by Mavericks General Manager Nico Harrison.

It really is a game of inches.

Baltimore’s season starts and ends on missed two point conversions.

Greg Gumbel was a legendary sportscaster and person.

He's one of the few guys that was a great host and play by play announcer.

He called and hosted the Super Bowl, he co-hosted shows on the FAN with Mike Francesa, and broadcasted Yankee games. RIP to one of the best.

Netflix is in the live sports business because it is the single greatest marketing tool to promote its new shows/movies and drive new sign-ups.

That $150 million investment will pay off big time.

I read 21 books in 2024.

As you can see, I like to read about a diverse array of topics and people.

My favorite book of the year was Unscripted by James Stewart and Rachel Abrams.

This clip single-handedly drove interest in ESPN’s new 30 for 30 “The New York Sack Exchange.”

It generated over 5.3 million views for us across our @nypostsports.bsky.social channels and it’s a reminder to lead with your best moment when promoting a project on social.

A what if that doesn't get talked about enough is what if the Giants picked Josh Allen instead of Saquon Barkley with the #2 overall pick in 2018.

The state of the franchise would look a lot different today.

Karl-Anthony Towns is the biggest reason why the Knicks can make a deep playoff run.

Towns has 13 straight double-doubles, he’s 12th in the league in points per game, and is second in rebounds per game.

The Knicks are the big winners of the KAT/Julius Randle trade.

The Mets going from owners losing hundreds of millions of dollars in a Ponzi scheme to an owner signing away a star free agent from the Yankees for $765 million is one of the most remarkable swings in sports history.

LeBron created the blueprint for athlete production companies.

I would be really curious to know how many other celebrity/athlete production companies are profitable.

That being said, it’s really staggering that SpringHill has never been profitable given how much money it raised.
SpringHill, the media company co-founded by LeBron , lost $28 million last year. It's never made $$.

A look at how the Hollywood recession is impacting production companies -- even those led by the world's most famous people -- in this week's newsletter.

OG dropped a career-high 40 points in one of the most impressive wins for the Knicks this season over the Nuggets.

Anunoby has 8 games with 20 or more points this year.

“It’s built by the people, for the people.”

It’ll be fascinating to see how @bsky.app grows and how the team will scale its business to keep up with its growth.

I really believe this platform is here to stay and offers a place to build a social community like Twitter once did.
Over the past week, the social media site Bluesky's growth has exploded, more than doubling to 15 million-plus users, as people seek alternatives to X, Facebook and Threads.

I interviewed Jake Paul in 2017 when people knew him only for his YouTube videos.

It’s still hard to believe that he is now the biggest name in boxing.

This quote about the power of social media is particularly resonant after Paul defeated Mike Tyson live on Netflix.

Saquon Barkley has 8 rushing touchdowns this season.

The New York Giants have 7 total rushing touchdowns.

The decision to not resign Barkley will haunt the Giants for many years to come. #NFL
