@carlrichell.bsky.social I upgraded to Cosmic and my Huion art tablet pen stopped working. The buttons work. Do you have a hunch whether this is a Wayland problem? Also, I spent 20min installing Gnome back to get it to work, but Gnome refused to load on the latest PopOs. Love what y'all are doing!

Interesting fact: AMD+NVIDIA hybrid laptops require Wayland. This is because the latest AMD Radeon integrated GPUs are not VGA compatible and hybrid won't work in that configuration on X11 (everything runs on the dGPU).

Do not browse your #SQLite data while running tests or you might end up spending 4 hours trying to figure out "why is the journal file not cleaning up after the test ends"? It is not cleaning up because some dummy has the file open in data explorer.

I hear the President has decreed that it is possibly a crime to refer to Americans as "fascists," but "fascism" is a word that has a relatively clear meaning that's worth understanding. Here's how an official publication of the US Army defined "fascism" in 1945.
The central point is that when fascism came to America it wouldn't call itself that, nor would it be wearing a swastika. It would call itself "patriotic" and "100% American."
