This might be the worst possible Bengals game to have attended, this century.

If you are team fire everyone, this is a good Bengals day for you. They’ve had truly horrendous efforts the last couple years but this is the weakest shit I’ve seen them put on the field

Joe Burrow has never played in a game with the Bengals eliminated from the playoffs.

A deeply felt nature poem. A man watched the decades speed past like the titular train, over tracks he helped build, in another life, a past that may as well be a dream. But so may the present and future.

Love this series- in another era the box set would look great on your home video shelf. Cuts deeper thematically than its predecessors but still plenty of fun. Not exactly a mystery you can solve, though these days in whodunnit content the answers usually lie in the casting.

Feels like an HBO comedy pilot for Rachel Sennot, who now has her Sunday night series in I Love LA. But one definitely worth watching. Coming of age in the form of social, professional, and sexual claustrophobia. At Shiva.

Man, what’s the point of being a mega-dollar franchise if you can’t make a player like Pete Alonso a lifer?

Sturdy production, win or lose, as a fan I love to watch a player like that fling franchise charts for a dozen years.

Most recent 2025 films I’ve seen are Train Dreams, Sentimental Value, Jake Kelly and they’re all blending together. Reflections on family relationships, homes, career and personal priorities. How to live, at what cost. What you pass on. Then again that’s most art, isn’t it?

I wonder how many MLB Hall of Famers (even by the sometimes comically reduced vets committee standards) didn’t make their first All Star team until age 31? Jeff Kent. Quite the mullet-stache combo.
