While I am still so thankful to have had @helenking.bsky.social and @praxeas.bsky.social on to have a great convo about the next ABC, it is disheartening to see a certain ignorant 20something yr old YouTuber say “The ABC is basically the pope of Anglicanism” and rack up 68k+ views with that slop ⚓️

Fun to see a few people frothy with excitement that Archbishop-designate Sarah will mean Anglicans go to Rome or realign global Anglicanism with a new (male) head. Kind of sounds like a church based on gender ideology (rather than Christ) to me! But I am but a simple small town parson ⚓
