I like to give people the benefit of the doubt… but he’s shown himself repeatedly to be a liability at crosses, at being caught with the ball at his feet, questionable ability to read through balls… and I’m not sure how many keepers have been caught out not once, but twice with the 8 second rule.
Yeah, it was bad. Strange too, considering the players literally have their names on their backs - not that that should matter. Incompetent at best, not sure how to describe it at its worst.
Well done Brackley, deserved that. Roos isn’t good enough. The result isn’t entirely on him, but there is no confidence, no assurance and a complete downgrade on Bass.
Dennis is good. Iorpenda is decent. Bennetts is either brilliant or woeful. Hall the same. Norburn is a good back up. Kouyhar is an ok sub. Alijofree is poor. Roos is abysmal.
I think the Bass departure and Roos signing may have been a defining factor in the goodbye to Gagliardi. Reckon he said his mate Roos would be more than good enough, so move was greenlit. Liability.
I know you’re not a fan of Grant, but he regularly does a thankless task of disrupting in and around the opposition midfield and defence. We’re not doing enough to allow him that chance. Iorpenda would be better as he runs with the ball and will put fear into their defence.
Only myself to blame for not checking, but slightly frustrated to have missed out on Brackley tickets due to what seems an early finish for ticket sales.
Much of a muchness, that. Neither team seem to want it. Us with some slightly nice flashes of play, then with more direct chances. I’d say Hall off for Iorpenda or Dennis.
I think I’d sub Jodi and Jatta, for Dennis and probably Bennetts. Dennis holds the ball up better than Jatta and Jodi juts seems a bit ineffective at present.
