For this reason the President is always a controversial choice, always an infuriating but fascinating character. His job is not to wield power but to draw attention away from it.

If you haven’t watched Trudeau’s speech, it”s definitely worth a listen. IMHO it sounds like he feels a broader realignment is inevitable.

At this point I’m just expecting the Nexus program to be abolished. It was nice while it lasted…

To be clear nothing has been announced, but I’m having troubles seeing it survive the current sabre rattling.
