Black Friday is almost here, the day where we constantly add things to an e-commerce shopping cart we won't buy and probably won't need. If only they did the same discounts for domain names so we continue to buy and register domains we don't need.

You know your security settings for account management, etc. are kind of robust when you get a new phone and you’re absolutely locked out of everything and can’t get back in even when you know all the things.

Namespaces tidy your cluster — they don’t isolate it.
All containers still share the same kernel, so one escape can take down the node.
Partitioning ≠ Protection.
True workload isolation happens at runtime, not in YAML.

Beyond Namespaces: Why Kubernetes Needs Real Workload Isolation
To build secure, resilient infrastructure, we need to reset the conversation. Namespaces are valuable, but they don’t isolate.

Economics Rant:

- S&P 500 is up 14.85%
- U.S Dollar Index (value of the dollar) is down 8.9%

The market being at all time highs is 1) Inaccurate 2) Concerning. Don't put your money to work you lose to inflation. Put money to work asset bubble 😐

USD as a reserve currency is not at risk right?

Vibe coding is happening and it’s here, but we need to be real about what that means. It’s time to treat it seriously, and we need to know and understand the high stakes :)

Vibe Coding Is the New Open Source—in the Worst Way Possible
As developers increasingly lean on AI-generated code to build out their software—as they have with open source in the past—they risk introducing critical security failures along the way.

Hot Take: MCP is not an “API for agents” it’s more like a patch for legacy code. “Older” applications which prevent programmatic access to components are patched by MCP. Is this the right solution? Time will tell.

Inflation incentivizes consumption because the net value of liabilities gets lower overtime. Inflation is a monetary policy phenomenon. So it's not far fetched to think that inflationary monetary policy will continue for a country in which consumption represents 70% of the economy.
