For the first time since 2018, I'll not be watching the Sanremo final as UMK clashes, but this live event is worth it.

Honestly, Italy will only be on song 20/30 by the time UMK finishes so plenty of time to catch up. 😉

We went to UMK this year and it was a fantastic show to experience live. We got tickets this morning for next year too now. Its well worth adding to the national final bucket list.

I went this year and it's like a slightly smaller version of Eurovision itself - atmosphere and production are superb. The arena complex stays open into the small hours after the show for the afterparty too. The arena also has an on-site brewery. Ive booked for next year now too. 🥳

Last weekend was Epic Con in Glasgow. No Remedy meet this time, but a few of us met up regardless, minus cosplay. I took the opportunity to wear my latest cosplay instead, Kathy Rain from the sequel of the same name. I also met the lovely Danny John-Jules (The Kat, Red Dwarf).

#dadifreyr in Glasgow on Wednesday evening was excellent as always. Although I couldn't stay behind this time, it was great to meet some of the Facebook fan group as well as some of my Eurovision pals. I also got the chance to hear #Montaigne (ESC Australia 2020+2021) sing live.

Also saw the play before The Dark Room called I See You Watching. What begins as a simple audition which doesn't suit the actress quickly turns into something much darker and is meant to leave the audience feeling uncomfortable. This piece will be triggering for some, but it's well worth a watch.

I'm lucky in that regard that the wooziness clears after a long rest for 2 hours. My stomach however is not good and I have permanent brain fog. That is probably age and hormone complications too

You and me both then. I'm suffering with a weather headaches as well as my usual migraine symptoms, and those seem to have increased again just now. I hate taking meds but no choice when you can't function through the pain.
