Happy #WrensDay! There were several species of Wrens out this morning. The Bewick's and Canyon Wrens were calling from far away and mostly hiding. This Rock Wren (Salpinctes obsoletus) wasn't nearly as shy and gave a good vocal performance before flying off. #birds #wrens #wildlife

We have some highlights from last night's live feed of the Western Screech-Owl Nest Box in our backyard.

There are currently four eggs in the nest. The male does most of the hunting throughout the night, while the female mostly stays with the eggs.
