@dogmabrighton.bsky.social is a superb fanzine, full of witty, well-researched and insightful writing. Well worth the subscription. Fanzines aren't as plentiful as they were a few years ago but those that are left, are brilliant. And the stickers are fantastic. #BHAFC

Really feels like stagnation rather than evolution at the moment.

Every pub unwelcoming so in a night club (‘away pub’) at midday

Molineux away end never conducive to a good atmosphere

1 point earned and hopefully not back to the Black Country next season

That kinda performance is what’s going to hold us back from the top 8 and euro places

What we learnt CFC 1 #BHAFC 3

Fab nailed the subs (again)

Daddy Welbeck is back… and still dat guy

Guided tour groups in the home end? Game’s gone

A No. 9 makes a world of difference

They should have bought more - we still get under their skin

M&M’s. Mitoma being quiet allows Minteh to shine

Let’s hope it’s a miserable day for all who walked away, pushed for a move or tried to buy us.

Up. The. Albion.

What we learnt #BHAFC 2 Spurs 2

Fab’s “it was an unlucky game for us” comments are delusional

1 win in 5. 5 points down YOY. Worried yet?

Rutter isn’t a viable no 9

Together Against Suicide is a superb initiative

We’re better at protecting player valuations than 2 goal leads
dogmabrighton.bsky.social
It was a foolhardy attempt at a double jinx. Apologies, we’ll learn from this and take the positives.
dogmabrighton.bsky.social
If we were neutrals we’d say this has got 3-1 to Brighton written all over it.

That’s an interesting point - only performing in 30-40 spells, but rarely across the 90.

Is that a consequence of the tactical approach - I think the idea is to use a mix of options within the same game (pressing, countering, long build ups etc) so things can look uneven - or just bad management?
dogmabrighton.bsky.social
You can add Danny W to that list too, sadly. Going with just him and Tzimas as our options at number 9 for the first half of the season was suicidal (Rutter can play there, but really shouldn’t).
dogmabrighton.bsky.social
These next set of fixtures before the break should be enlightening. Fab was able to address periods of poor form last season and turn things around - for example that great run at the end of the season that followed some really bad results and performances. He needs to repeat that trick.
dogmabrighton.bsky.social
Bournemouth is STILL the shittest away in the PL

Their recent recruitment work is better than ours – including managerial?

Danny’s done, Stef isn’t ready. Now what?

The injury hex was never lifted

Are Fab’s omni-tactics the zeitgeist of football management… or a sign of his incompetence?
