So naturally, I simply must ditch the Royal Runaway name, because that’s a million times easier to stomach than the alternative!

I don’t know to what, but half of the Burning Red crew still don’t have them either, so it’s fine until I think of something…!!

Avoiding that in-universe would instead mean the bounty has to apply to Prince while being unaware of his origins, which is doable thanks to the change of appearance he takes upon his escape

But changing that invalidates the epithet of Royal Runaway, since they can’t know that’s what he is

Thus far I had just pictured his epithet as ‘Royal Runaway’ Prince, but the circumstances of his escape from his horrible noble family to a life of piracy would more naturally see the government apply the bounty to his birth name, as his family insists upon

But that sucks and I hate it actually

Specifically, as a wanted fugitive, how do I avoid the natural expectation that those hunting him down are going to deadname the poor guy like crazy (cuz I simply don’t want that!)
