41. Wicked City (1987)

A human and a demon must protect a person of interest to re-establish a peace treaty between the two races. All the designs and animations are great. The story isn't necessary anything really special, but the world and atmosphere are awesome. A great watch for me.

40. From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)

Two criminals and the family they took as hostages end up in a mysterious bar in Mexico with a dark secret. Really good acting, with a nice cast of great actors and cult favourites. Some really good effects and gory action packed finale. Still a great film.

39. A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child (1989)

Freddy comes back to haunt the pregnant survivor of his. Decent acting. Hit and miss special effects. Some interesting ideas to try to breath new life to the series, but the slasher aspect left more to be desired. Overall still okey.

38. The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999)

A girl who is an outcast loses her best friend to suicide, which starts a series of events with deadly consequences. Decent acting. Really good effects and surprisingly gory. The boys will be boys story aspect worked well. A bit formulaic, but decent sequel.

37. I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House (2016)

A nurse takes care of an elderly writer whose stories seem to have been inspired by the house itself. Good acting. Not that eventful and very slowly paced ghost story. Well shot. A bit predictable. Overall average at best.

36. Gerald's Game (2017)

A women gets tied up to a bed after her husband dies in the middle of the action, then she is forced to face her past trauma in a battle against life and death. Good acting and effects. Interesting premise. A very wild, weird and surprising ending. Great film.

35. Cuckoo (2024)

A young women moves in the German alps with her family and gets tormented by some weird noises and visions. Good acting. Really interesting concept. I liked both the loss of a loved one and sisterhood aspects of the story. A good horror/mystery film.

34. Witches (1990)

A young boy gets himself in trouble with witches when he accidently crashes their convention. Over the top acting, but in a fun way. Some good special effects. The story didn't grab me much. Would of probably liked it more if I saw it as a kid. Still an Ok kids horror.

33. Nightbitch (2024)

A stressed out mother starts to think that she is turning in to a dog. The acting is decent. The idea is pretty good. Needed to be funnier and lean more to the more absurd ideas. Overall a bit more mundane than the premise made me hope for. Its an okey film.

32. Candyman 3: The Day Of The Dead (1999)

The remaining offspring of The Candyman summons him back with deadly results. The acting is mostly decent, but even Tony Todd can't fully save this one. The social commentery aspect left more to be desired leaving an average slasher behind.

31. Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988)

Freddy is back to take revenge on the remaining Elm Street kids...again. Decent acting, well shot and some good effects (cockroach and end especially). Somewhat feels like a lesser retread of the previous one. Still a decent slasher.

30. The Addiction (1995)

A philosophy Major student gets bit by a mysterious women and finds herself craving human blood. Really good acting. Beautifully shot. At times feels that it tries a bit too much to be artsy/smart. Fun Walken appearance. Nice 90's soundtrack. A good vampire movie.

29. Poltergeist 3 (1988)

Same old spooks, but brand new setting and family. I like some of the actors in it, but the material they are working with wasn't good. The characters didn't feel consinstent. The horror stuff felt duller than the previous two entries. An average at best sequel.

28. The Empty Man (2020)

An ex-cop gets involved with a mysterious cult while searching for a lost young women. Good acting. Interesting mystery. Somewhat predictable, but still engaging. A really enjoyable, though lenghty mystery horror film. #TheEmptyMan

27. Tarot (2024)

A group of friends find a set of Tarot cards with a deadly curse attached to them. Somewhat hollow and uninteresting characters, that are at times elevated by the performers. Some decent monster designs. I liked the elevator scene, but otherwise really run of the mill.

26. Cronos (1992)

Antiques dealer finds a golden scarab inside an old statue that holds the secrets to eternal life. I really liked the story. Its kind of an old school horror story told with more modern tools. Gives it an unique atmosphere. Really good acting & effects. Great watch.

25. A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987)

Freddy returns to seek revenge on the last Elm Street kids. Decent acting. Some funny lines, good effects work and some memorable kills. Really liked the Harryhausen skeleton. Overall a fun slasher flick.

24. Poltergeist II: The Other Side (1986)

The family might have moved, but the spooks keep coming back. The acting is pretty good. The side characters are far more interesting than the main ones. The Native American character was a great addition. The effect are quite good. Decent sequel.

23. The Monkey (2025)

Two brothers inherit a cursed Monkey doll that kills people with creative and twisted ways. This was a really funny movie with a quite twisted and dark sense of humour. The acting & effects were also good. A fun movie, but might not be for everyone. #TheMonkey
