turning down the tilt sensitivity and stabilization on within procreate to virtually nothing. Fiddling with those two settings alone basically made the the pencil brushes in procreate feel like crisp PS brushes but with a clean, subtle stabilizing effect. next struggle: canvas size...

Haha, I hadn't thought of that! I find that seeing my hand in front of my drawing really trips me up, so... relatable lol. Tbh I've managed to solve most of my aversion to procreate by getting a paper texture screen protector for my ipad and -

Also, I've noticed that playing with brush pressure and stabilization settings helps with the mushy feeling, so perhaps there's a sweet spot somewhere to be had. Ngl procreate + apple pencil feel WONDERFUL for just writing text.

Somehow I have the opposite problem, I can't seem to let go of photoshop because I HATE the way the brush stabilization feels in procreate. I feel like my strokes are less precise and the brushes feel mushy. But I think it also has something to do with wacom vs apple pencil. Curious to try CSP tho.
