This right here is the main issue with the U.S. People are raised with little empathy, lots of guns, toxic masculinity and adoration of rich assholes. Oh and poor education.

They don't get much kickback (not counting protests) so they feel free to up their 'destroy democracy' game. Is democracy even alive in America today? I personally don't think so any more. ANY other country and they would have been stopped by now.

Seriously. The window to restore what was a democratic country is fast closing. Soon, you won't recognize it. We (the world) will pity you, but will go on living. Can't say the same for you, the one's that survive (people of colour, people with health issues, older people, women, poor people).

Ok, so he's doing many illegal things from the WH. Why can we not go in and arrest them? Why can't the army go in and round them up, zip tie them, and march them to a gulag somewhere? What's stopping that from happening? Explain it to me like I'm a Canadian.

We’re in a moment now where it would be worth people taking three hours to watch Gandhi, particularly the scene of the salt march. There is value to making the brutality of your opponent so plain as day that no one can argue with it. The clarity of that brought down an empire
