Coopers Hawk sitting at the bottom of the bird feeders today. Every one is cold and hungry. It was 30 below last night with a wind chill up to 50 below. Makes me wonder how they survive.

Coyote was hunting ducks, when he saw me there hiding and watching, he took off. I was camping with my cat, Scarlet at Freezout Lake. She loved to go camping! Robert decided to stay home that trip and he missed this sight.

We were lucky to get some photographs of jack rabbits. I love jack rabbits! We have plenty of cottontails in our yard, and we love them, but it's kind of rare and extra fun to see jack rabbits. They have such interesting faces and long legs.
