Ive been reading a bit about this and the issue appears to be related to the need to regulate the AI programming to not allow certain decision making. Call me a cynic but I am very concerned that in the interest of being the first and “deregulated free markets” the US will not properly manage it.

I’d love to, do you have any suggestions on how to effectively do that? Unfortunately I have no platform to actually reach people. Also how do I ensure my organizing is coordinated with others so there is sufficient momentum to be effective? Genuinely want to help

America has committed suicide by electing Trump, GOP congress and seating corrupt SCOTUS. Boils down to complacency by voters, that is a majority of eligible voters couldn’t be bothered to vote when it was obvious this was the outcome with GOP. We deserve to burn down so we can build back up.

Not at all, but I worry way too many Americans are either not aware of the severity of our situation or they are genuinely afraid and hoping others will fix it. We need much more action, like extended work strikes and spending freezes (only buy what’s absolute necessity).

This is why we the people need to wake up and do something meaningful. The rich and powerful believe they run the show, but the people still do if we want to show our power. Serious action is needed to turn this around, like substantial work strikes and lengthy massive personal spending reductions

Yep, release the files. Swalwell says that as soon as there’s a vote the GOP will vote in large numbers to release the files. I’ll believe it when I see it. Powerful people will do everything in their power to prevent it.

Her performance yesterday was just awful and shows the rot in the DOJ. Our government will need a severe cleanse of the MAGA infestation. Step 1 will be to get $$ out of politics, legislate dismantling of Citizen’s United and bring back fair taxation where the uber rich pay their fair share.

I sit and wonder what would happen to me if I tried her tactics in any of the depositions I’ve been through. Her performance was outrageous and sent me over the edge. She knows that Senators have limited time and won’t harp on her not answering the actual question.

Amen to that, the insurance industry is just a middleman taking a cut. If we remove them we will need some administrative help to manage flow of money from govt to providers but we could severely cut our overall costs for healthcare.

Still never answered the question, essentially confirming he took the money. Blanche claimed “no case”, never said whether he took the money. These people lie with abandon, suggesting Leavitt is honest is just laughable as she lies multiple times a day just like them all.

Yes, please hit the GOP from every angle. While healthcare is a primary issue, stopping the wasteful spending on ICE kidnappings, indiscriminately blowing up fishing boats and having military patrol our streets needs to be defunded. No agreement until then!
