I was exactly the same about the dentist and could barely get a checkup without sedation (a sadistic barbarian in the '70's as a small boy). A liberating fear to conquer with help of some honesty, understanding, a gentle approach and deep breathing. I go running in my mind 😏 Best of luck.

Took Wilbur dog on a 10k in 'Scotch mist' which we reappeared from. Annual celebrity burning of Guy Fawkes tonight and his failed gunpowder plot on the Houses of Parliament. 1605 was a long time ago. Time to try again?

I've never had an issue with my veins. My resting HR is 39, HRmax is 178 and blood pressure is 124/80. That seems ok at 56 years old. No varicose veins or pain. The photo was immediately after exercise so they were warm and well used 😅 I'll bear your advice in mind though. Thanks for caring ❤️

I'm hoping not. They're not completely black and seem to be getting some healthy colour back. Good socks and snug fitting shoes definitely help.

I've been kicking (taekwondo) and running for years. Had almost every foot related injury and this was a first! Did a marathon in a new brand & felt the foot slipping but just kept on. Think I should've tightened the laces a bit more. Lesson learned, but at least they've stayed in place so far.

Day 307 - Broken cloud, breeze, cool, wet.
Squelch through fallen wet leaves with Wilbur dog, slowing things down a bit more to recover. Forgot my phone so took a photo of 5 week post marathon toes that are repairing themselves. Sorry to the podophobists!
