Punching bag puppy 👊🐶

The puppy's eyes fluttered as she softly swung back and forth, shaking her head to stir her own attention. That last one was hard. It hurt. The lingering pain in her abdomen playing out across the tissue and muscles that protected her delicate organs. The lingering tingle, she could practically feel the bruises forming.

Deep, wavering breaths carried absentminded whimpers as she recovered. Everything felt fuzzy. She was lightheaded, listening to the sound of her own thudding heart, her fur standing on end. Endorphins had kicked in while ago. Like a current quietly rushing throughout her entire body. It quieted her thoughts, grounded her here, in this moment, in this place.

A hand found her neck and steadied her slow swinging. Words were spoken that her taxed mind struggled to process. Not that it mattered, her response was the same regardless: louder whines. Her gaze found her trusted abuser's. A look of glee, pity, and desire. They were really pretty.

A fist pressed to her abdomen. She whined as it pressed into her, agitating her already bruised tummy. The fist felt so rigid. So sturdy. It held there for a while. Pulled away. The pup's whimpers fell quiet as she braced herself in anticipation. She waited. And waited. Seconds stretched into eternities, nothing but her breathing and the quiet drip-drip-drip on the floor to fill the silence.
