Kosen, who handles effects for our game, created the effect you see on the Orc Shaman’s standing pose. I personally really like it, so I wanted to share it with you all. And we’re working on various other effects besides this one, too.

I’m tired of writing about sensitive topics like this, too. People are probably tired of seeing me post things like this as well. If it’s not related to game development, I just want to post my art. I guess I’ll just go watch a dwarf blacksmith and a human guy having sex instead.

I changed my approach: rather than risk being labeled a racist for explaining the bright lighting, I just toned the skin down and re-uploaded it. It reminded me of how I suffered back when I was working on Overwatch’s Mauga, because people tried to paint me as a racist...

I further refined the emotion changes for Gildarth/Clint/Dorik, I also drew actions/poses that fit each expression. This hasn’t been applied in the demo yet, but it will be implemented through patches.
