I'm so sad we've lost David Johansen – our last living Doll 💔 I saw him a good dozen times in 1978/79 after his first amazing solo album. Such an icon. 💔

We have Jethro Tull to thank for Black Sabbath. Tony Iommi was only briefly in Tull but he learned the importance of discipline & professionalism. After 1 month he went back to B'ham, got serious with Sabbath & the rest is history. Here's Tony with Jethro Tull

2024 was a weird-ass year (all my super-sensitive friends agree; something felt “off”).
I found joy in hanging with my fam, very long walks, rediscovering The Kinks, micro-exploring Wiltshire, and spending a lot less time online.
