Reaching for increased effort or pushed timeline is often a crutch to avoid the important work of prioritization. Prioritize Ruthlessly: dontbreakprod.com/posts/priori...

My ability to get sucked into things like Cookie Clicker ( orteil.dashnet.org/cookieclicker/ ) is probably one of my biggest failings as a human.

Ok, I'm trying out @dev.to for posting about some tech things. I just wrote something about Postwave: dev.to/dorkrawk/int...

I finally put together a site (and example implementation) for the blog engine I've been working on, Postwave. It's ready for people to start playing around with. Check it out at postwave.blog

I wrote a bit about how it's nice to have things both configured and configurable after playing around with #omarchy for a while: dinosaurseateverybody.com/blog/playing...

Installing Omarchy on an ancient (2012) MacBook Air has led me ordering a replacement battery to address the horrible battery life. For about $30 this laptop that was gathering dust will be a very usable little machine.

Whoa, LocalSend ( localsend.org ) is incredible for moving files around heterogeneous devices (iPhone, Macs, Linux, Windows, etc.). It just works! No setup, no accounts.

So I dug up an old 2012 MacBook Air and installed Omarchy on it. I guess now I'm spending my night messing around with Arch and Hyprland?

We feed our leopard gecko live crickets. There is one remaining cricket in his terrarium that has been chirping all day for the past few days. Come on lizard! Just eat him, he's driving me nuts! 🦎

I'm almost relieved that Omarchy doesn't support dual booting. Now I can stop thinking about replacing my Omakub setup. For now.

I KNOW I don't have the free time to start playing around with Arch, but Omarchy ( omarchy.org ) does look kind of cool....

It's been a while since I've spent some time shuffling around webpage layouts to match a mock up. It's both really frustrating and kind of rewarding.
