A 2017 Modesty Blaise commission by John M Burns - pencils and inks. Even though he was sacked from drawing the daily newspaper strip after two and a bit stories and professed to hate the character, he did dozens of book covers, commissions and sketches for decades afterwards.

I reposted @davidmcdonald.bsky.social's post about the found copies of Lost Treasures earlier but didn't have time to eloborate on them. Children of the Stars was drawn by John M Burns in 1970. The book also contains The Long Way Home drawn by Jesus Blasco.

How good was Ron Embleton !!
Pictured is his cover to 'The Secret of the Trolls' that appears in our latest 'Lost Treasures' collection. Give it a go, it's probably the best illustrated comic you will buy this year!

I’ve always loved comics, always loved books and now I hold in my hands one containing work by one of my favourite artists that I helped to make. Thank you again to @eatonjones.bsky.social and @roberthammond.bsky.social for letting me into their world. Roll on Eartha – no wait, that sounds rude...

Does anyone have a good quality clipping of E36 from Eartha published in the News of the World Sunday magazine 1981-82? As you can see, the one we have is ripped. Many thanks. This is for the Eartha collection featuring art by John M Burns.
