Bashear has never been in a election where his dad was not a two term governor. He will have to create his own path nationally. He's polling at 2% now. TBH, given the clean up that will be needed on all fronts, his lack of federal, foreign policy and military/intelligence experience is concerning.

We have a jungle primary FYI and the top two candidates regardless of party affiliation run against each other in the General election. GQP votes could help a candidate in both places.

His former campaign manager and best friend since high school calls him the bravest person he has ever known. He has been dealing with the scrutiny since 2019 and will plan for it. And many MAGA respect him - he has a big appeal to Republicans and independent voters.

Gavin has the CA Highway Patrol and Members of Congress can use the Capitol Police as security resources. During the 2019-20 campaign, Pete had the highest private security expenses as he did not have the access to either State or Federal security or corporate security as the other candidates did.

Such a great interview with Channel 5 and Andrew Callahan! Highly recommend people watch the whole thing. And the GQP is putting healthcare and the Epstein victims in jeopardy thru the shutdown.
