And here it is, an updated, 2025 version (or kinda 2026) of my OC lineup!! 🎯🩰🐈🌿🔪🐍👻
I mean to do these yearly, but the last one was from 2022 - so this was loong overdue.
I'm so excited to show you all their updated looks + give some insight to how their stories have progressed the last 3-4 years.
A lineup of my original characters. From left to right: Rasha: A slender figure with olive skin and long white hair, wearing punk-ish clothes. His eyes are pure black, and he holds out one hand summoning a black, slinky substance, while his other hand supports him with a cane. Aka: A chubby woman with extremely long white hair that is decorated with buttons carrying eye motifs, all the way to her ankles. Her olive-toned body sports a pastel corset with mismatching stockings, and a large ruff around her neck. She carries an enormous sword behind her, looking like a boxcutter. Aiden: A muscular individual wearing a blue shirt, khakis and birkenstocks. His hair is almost as pale as his skin, and whatever skin you can see is covered in freckles. His adoring eyes point downward to a pleased orange cat in his arms. Park: A person of average build, with peachy skin and a jet black bob. She sports colorful clothes, and plant-like tendrils spawn around her feet which she uses to lean on. These also sprout from her forehead, curling back like antlers. Her eyes are an eerie yellow. Boris: An extremely gaunt character with peachy skin and long, naturally black hair that is starting to grey. He wears a red suit adorned in black straps, and carries a bloody samurai sword. Crows fly to his shoulders, and his eyes glow an eerie yellow. Mu: A person of stocky build, peachy skin and many tattoos. He wears street style clothes in olive colors, and his short black hair has a bleached, blonde tuft in it. On his back are large, white wings. Cassidy: A skinny, dark-skinned figure in gothic, frilly attire. She carries an old book in her hands as she narrowly dodges several ghosts floating around her. Her big hair is put up in pigtails, and each textured dread is a different shade of purple and blue. She wears trad goth makeup.

not that i couldn’t before but i always had to wait for sunlight + stack multiple questionable house objects to elevate my phone. this makes the proces so much easier and i’m so excited to have this elevate my creative proces!!!

Last year was incredibly lacking in terms of pages for my comic (i think i only did 20 pages) - BUT THIS YEAR will the be the year of ✨my comic✨
it'll be my no 1 creative priority, and the goal is to finish AT LEAST 70 pages by the end of december 🫡

Inside the frame are three scenes featuring the same couple, the characters Colin (brunette) and Fenneden (blonde). The top scene is them in masquerade outfits, dancing in front of a giant view into the turqouise bottom of the ocean that colors them so. The middle has them holding each other as well as the golden frame, their faces intimately close. Blue light hits them from the back, a warm orangey red lighting up their faces. The bottom scene has the two sitting down, Fenneden with a slice of red relvet cake on a plate, Colin with a book resting on his thigh. The blonde holds a fork ahead of the face of the brunette who, intentionally, has cream cheese on his nose. Beneath them is the title of the story, 1951, followed by a subtitle reading 'Am I corrupting you? Are you corrupting me?' - as well as a gramophone to the very right. Behind the gold framing is various side characters, each glaring in various ways. A quick elevator pitch of the plot in case you're curious: "In the underwater city of Rapture, the tailor Fenneden Fergus picks out the amnesiac pianist Colin Faust as his next muse for an ongoing sick desire, under the guise of 'Romance.' Colin quickly falls under the spell, the proces of affection simultaniously triggering long-lost memories, revealing the musician's true brutal nature. Secretly a homicidal maniac, Fenneden is the one person eagerly delighted by what he uncovers in Colin, causing him to suddenly feel DIFFERENTLY towards this subject compared to his usual ones. Slowly, they pull each other away from each of their initial hoped outcomes, love and death, and meet somewhere in the middle."

illustration of my characters boris & connor. connor lays limp and covered in blood in boris' arms that are also applying pressure to the fatal wound connor has suffered. a bloodied knife lays nearby. they are in a field of white snow, the blue shadow of a winged figure looming eerily above them. boris seems to be making sinister eye contact with the figure. description: a while back i drew boris’ last moments (a piece I’m still very proud of by the way) - but this, connor’s demise, is what starts the chain reaction for the former. There’s still some details about it I haven’t figured out, it’s supposed to be a little ambiguous in regards to what exactly happened and who did what. but the fact remains that Boris has put so much of himself into Connor, knowing damn well that all that man ever wanted was the sweet kiss of death. could he have done something different? Was he not enough? He is so mind-boggling angry, so heart crushingly sad, it’s too painful to admit defeat. and so he chooses absolute delusion, believing he can cheat death and fight God. cause why couldn’t he? spoiled brat’s gotten his way until that moment. that’s the mixed pot of emotion I tried to convey on his face a as if that’s ever gonna solve anything. He’ll be consumed by delirium, dragging Connor back home, cleaning him up and dressing him for bed as if he’s sick or sleeping - and he’ll continue to care for a corpse until the grief makes his own body give out.
