Book recommendation for this weekend: The Blue Nowhere by Jeffery Deaver.
It taught me pretty much everything about this culture when I was a kid, before the jargon file, and despite it aged (and being written à la Michael Chrichton) I still think it contains some wisdom for the people in tech.
