The National Wallace Monument is a 67-meter tower in Scotland that honours the medieval Scottish hero, Sir William Wallace. Construction began in 1861, and the tower was completed in 1869.

I was up there today. The platform is superb and offers excellent views. Just don't let the trees get too high between it and the view, as so often happens with these things.
