"World's first potential trillionaire has killed 600,000 people, including 400,000 children" is the only headline that anyone should ever read about Elon Musk
One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jUzNSc
The Shutdown of U.S.A.I.D. Has Already Killed Hundreds of Thousands
The short documentary “Rovina’s Choice” tells the story of what goes when aid goes.

At some point in the next five to three hundred years Tom Cruise is going to die, and last year i would've said that will be the weirdest celebrity funeral, and it still might be but they'll have to go extra hard to one up the Kirk funeral/really/bonanza.

IDK if @sajamfgc.bsky.social has already set the contestants for the next slam, but I would love to see @wolfeglick.bsky.social and @julialepetit.bsky.social to be involved in a Slam at some point. I just think it'd be fun.

No, all that /you/ are saying is "give peace a chance." I was saying "give bees to France." We are not the same.

Bach composed over one thousand musical pieces that codified a series of rules and guidelines that came to epitomise Baroque music because in late 1864 and early 1865 his mum took Tylenol.

Does it not blow everyone's mind how many of these are still going, and readily available this information is? They're so confident that we won't care that they didn't even change their company names, and apparently they're right? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Busines...

I don't want to be culturally insensitive to Turkish street vendors, but if I bought an ice-cream and the guy started fucking with me like that I'd simply start crying. I just love ice-cream so much and they're so mean.

Disney's most recent cowardice was the kick up the arse I needed to finally cancel Disney+ and subscribe to the @killjamesbond.bsky.social patron and... They played the Goldeneye /single player/!? I knew they were perverts, but I didn't know how bad it was, lol.

The most devastating criticism that @killjamesbond.bsky.social can give is that a movie is "barely homoerotic," and they're right.

Grand Masters tend to be one of three things: a leader of an order of knights, a top level chess player, or a rapper.

@killjamesbond.bsky.social Dr. Kelso is the hospital administrator, Dr Cox is Dr Kelso's Monster.

@bishonentype.bsky.social @altwatcher.bsky.social Just listened to your episode of It Could Happen Here, and it's a weird one. I remember following Alt National Park Service for a bit, because I thought it was a meme account, but then they started an ARG and I don't have the patience for that, lol.

No, the *chef* is called Ratatouille, you're thinking of Ratatouille's monster.

Movie idea: two celebrities trapped in a lift - one SNL legend infected with rabies, the other a multi-platinum RnB and pop music producer who must cunningly avoid him in "Will feral Will Feral feral wily Farrell Williams?"

Does anyone remember that time Harry Whittington apologised to Dick Cheney for being shot by him?

Hindenburg (the guy) would probably love that zeppelin explosion in hindsight, because when people think of "Hindenburg disaster" they think of the Led Zeppelin album artwork and not the German president rolling over and letting Hitler take charge, because in the long run one he was clearly worse.

@killjamesbond.bsky.social If you're looking for suggestions for heist movies that might do well with your *neurotypical* audience and would also be a good collab with one or both of the @theweeklyplanet.bsky.social boys, may I suggest the 1986 film Malcolm? It feature's Melbourne's trams!

In high school history classes we get told that Hitler was a charismatic speaker, and we hear clips of hip shouting at crowds, but I don't speak German so I just took their word for it. But I hear Trump shout mumble his way through a dozen half completed sentences... is that what Hitler was like?

Every time someone on @killjamesbond.bsky.social says the word "Zenagatafication" I get an earworm of it to the tune of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vidda and zone out for about 30 seconds.

IDK if a decision has been made about merging the 2022 Batman film with the 2025 Superman universe, but if @jamesgunn.bsky.social decides not to and is looking for a more cartoony Riddler, I've always thought @stephencolbert.bsky.social would be great, and I hear he's going to be available soon.
