🔮 “The well-beaten path” leads to something NECESSARY.

David Harrison Horton’s NECESSARY is a poetic meditation on time, place, and connection — weaving Babylonian myths, Carolingian history, Marco Polo, Paul Éluard, Elizabeth Willis, and Xinran into a lyrical reckoning with heritage and story.

If you come across any more closing publishers, please send them our way (but hopefully you won’t!).
downingfield.bsky.social
This is incredibly sad and frustrating. Publishers have a duty to their authors. We often reach out closing presses offering to take on their book lists to keep the books in print, often to no avail. When publishers don’t pay their royalties or close suddenly, it reflects poorly on all publishers.
