I saw a video from James Turner where Sims route autonomously through them, I think there are some opportunities to use them for other purposes and make some really fun builds ! For example I think you can use them to build bridges 🤓

Seeing Early Access videos and tunings that were updated in the latest patch, I think was right 😅 But I already see a nice mod opportunity to make things work better, as it's possible to add buffs to Club/SB/CV activities (only working for Custom Venues). I'll start working on that to test later.

Welcome to my TED talk ! Here I'll try to explain why I'm concerned about how Custom Venues and Getaways will work in terms of autonomy. From what I'm understanding, It will use the same system as Clubs and Small Businesses to pick activities, that don't work as well as for regular venues.

There will be a second round of updates after the pack is out to include new features and objects into my existing mods, and I already have some ideas for new mods with what I've explored in the tunings, so stay tuned 🫣

Just started working on my mods updates 🤓 It seems things are not broken, but many updates are required for when the pack is out (mostly filters and the other usual adjustements, but some surprising stuff, I never thought a pack would impact the campfire 😅).

It looks like building r-rentals on penthouses currently cause white screens and endless loading screens.

Try this method: forums.ea.com/idea/the-sim... and revert the lot to a residential one.

I hope this one will be prioritized and fixed quickly, I don't want to have to revert a residential rental I built on one of the penthouses lots of Ciudad Enamorada to a residential lot, as what I built here was for a purpose and I spent a lot of time on it 🥲

Of course, as always, in order to keep the process “balanced”, don’t upvote on stuff that you do not care about. Even if I still think using the number of upvotes is not an ideal metric for many reasons I also detailed.

It sums it up well. My games runs fine, but it's all those annoying issues that are not game breaking individually, but make me either shrug every 10 minutes when I'm playing, or leave my game and mod something / look for a fix 😅 At the moment the issue with photos prevents me from playing my save ☹️

New pillows 🎉 The magnets and the magnet board are so nice, I suppose the magnets will be able to be slotted on it. I hope postcards will also work on those, it will give the option to mix and match ! The stuffed animal and the nightlight are also nice, the rest is... okay.

I guess the new rule of fixing issues with the most upvotes will be for the next patch 😅 At least, with what is listed here (mostly fixes related to tagging and swatches), I don't think a lot of mods will break... except if they touch up a lot of stuff behind the scenes.

I was on the verge of doing a post listing some issues I really wanted to be fixed and post it on Tumblr, but I realized it was not fair, and it was a way to tip the balance in my way. I really hope fixes will come fast, and even more specific bugs that are not seen by most sill be solved.

This system of selecting bugs by the number of upvotes is kind of tricky, and seeing people push for upvotes was an expected reaction 😅 Some people might be so desperate to see issues that annoys them a lot, it's kind of a last resort solution. By the way, thanks for the job you do on the forums !

Sad to realize there is a new (not that new, from last month) issue that makes all your photos in-game blurry. They are reduced to a small size as soon as you load a lot, and saved this way, meaning they can't be recovered.

Nice to see they will take extra effort to address issues, I hope it will have a real impact. My only concern is using the metric of votes only to prioritize issues, as some of them might be easy to fix and not seen by most players, and newer issues with less votes might be forgotten or delayed 🥲

I've tried to play a little bit, as I wanted to see how the naturopath career worked (as it made sense for two of my Sims to switch to that !). It was fun, but I think I'll try and work on replacing the ailment overlays that are little too whimsical for my style of gameplay 🤗

Yes, I think that's the goal behind that, but I would like to be given the option not to compress pictures in my save 🥹 I limited the number of photos I have to make sure not to bloat it too much

I have no solution for this one, just don't play my main save and wait for it to be solved 🥲 There will be the option to retrieve the good quality pictures by exporting them in a room in the gallery and placing them back in your current save when the bug is solved.
