Agreed. I'm more than happy to live in the Sloop redemption arc reality if that's what comes. Lot of a ground to cover, but not impossible.

I think that's a totally fair interpretation! I definitely could be letting my own paranoiac lens fill in the blanks. I wish there weren't any blanks to be filled personally. But I think it's fair to give grace, with the expectation of seeing better behavior, and content reflect that change.

I hope he can be receptive and make tangible changes! It's a misnomer to assume that being mindful with your words and actions can be at the detriment of authenticity. Unchecked, it just makes you an authentic asshole.

It's actually amazing to me how you can have the lack of self awareness to post a video where you address issues and apologize for a third of the run time, only to then post a vague comment underneath that can be read as completely undermining the apology? #fabtcg

When a lot of FAB folks started migrating to bsky, Marina was fervently bumping the good word and promoting folks to re-network in this new space.

Without her efforts and infectious positivity, I very likely wouldn't have had the inspiration to fire up the #fabtcg feed.

Marina is a member of the community who truly embodies the welcoming spirit. Who works to make this a better place for all. Seeing her made to feel like she doesn’t belong is heart breaking. None of us are without faults. But the best of us own them and grow from mistakes. Not scrub them away.
