With Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave releasing next year. I need to go back and actually finish Three Houses and start Three Hopes. Might finish Engage as well.

I’m new to FE as I don’t really play tactical RPGs that often, but I’d like to give this series and genre a proper chance.

Maybe it’s because I’ve played Soulsborne since the original Dark Souls. Maybe it’s also because I’ve played Hollow Knight three times now, and finished a replay right before Silksong came out.

But so far I don’t really mind enemies dealing 2 mask damage in Silksong.

I just finished my replay of Hollow Knight and it’s still amazing! Got the Dream No More ending and over 100 percent completion! Saving the Pantheon for another time.

I’m ready for Silksong tomorrow!!

Is it okay for me to say that finally starting the Trails series properly with the first game gives me the same feeling I had getting into Kingdom Hearts back then?

Because I’ve been looking forward to starting another long JRPG series with a continuous story and plenty of lore.

Lies of P is one of my favorite soulslikes and recommend as it’s often regarded as having close to the same level of quality of a Fromsoft game. They even added difficulty options to Lies of P with the release of the DLC. The “Legendary Stalker” being the game’s original default difficulty.

*I know Star Ocean: The Second Story R isn’t inherently an HD-2D game in the same vein as Octopath Traveler. But from how people complain about that HD-2D style, you’d think they’d like seeing the different approach Star Ocean took blending the 3D environments with 2D sprites.

As much as I’m still trying to patiently wait for substantial Kingdom Hearts 4 news.

With ML now being cancelled. Depending on how much they’re doing with Kairi training under Aqua. I’d be happy with a full subtitled game dedicated to it and not have it be just a segment in KH4.

Playing Donkey Kong Bananza and just finished Lagoon Layer at 100%, before moving on to the next Layer.

I like to collect everything as I go in pretty much every platformer I play, as I always have since the PS2 era as a kid.

Yeah this’ll end up being one of my favorite games.
