Dad, husband, Mayor of Salem Massachusetts - an incredible city, inspired by our history and motivated by our possibility. he/him

(This is a personal account and does not purport to exercise the authority of the state.)
This morning I attended my 1st meeting as a member of the Commonwealth’s Ocean Advisory Commission.

As 1 of 78 coastal communities in MA, #SalemMA is connected to the sea in so many ways-so I’m honored to bring the municipal perspective to the OAC & its important work.

At the Jan meeting of the MA Mayors Assoc we talked over a host of issues with Senators Markey and Warren. Appreciate the leadership we have from our federal partners.

And congrats to Mayor Garcia of Holyoke, on his election as the association’s president for the year!

#SalemMA DPS has ~80 pieces of equipment out, but given the amount of ❄️ it’s going to take some time, so please be patient.

Check on vulnerable neighbors, clear around your nearest fire hydrant, and pace yourself shoveling. For non-emergency issues: [email protected] or 978-744-1212.

Been a while since we’ve been here together!

Tonight #SalemMA State president John Keenan and I were both at the State House for the State of the Commonwealth address. The last time we were both in the building was when he was Salem’s State Representative & I was his legislative aide in 2005-2007.

Honored to attend State of the Commonwealth address by @massgovernor.bsky.social. #SalemMA is fortunate to have state partners working with us for safer, more affordable, & forward-looking cities. Gov. Healey outlined a positive vision for an even better MA - one I’m excited to help make possible.
