The Majority of Insulin Is imported from Irish Owned Pharmaceutical companies in the Republic of Ireland. From the year 1973. All Certified Diabetics in Ireland receive "Free Insulin" paid by a 1% Deduction from all taxes paid into the Revenue Service.
