This is exactly why I warn people I’m a “slow artist”. I can get very deep into a piece and it can swallow me whole. It’s exactly why some pieces have gone on for years ;__; I actually hate it only for my commissioners, but I am passionate about the piece.
Do you guys ever look at a drawing in progress and simply feel so overwhelmed by the amount of work left that it paralyzes you?
Anyways I'm 65 hours into a piece and have not yet completed the drawing step. Realizing there is a reason I put this idea off for 11 years 🙃
