I do love it that the physical released includes a code to download the OST (which is great by the way), and a booklet with story bits, characters, and a manual.
If they patch it I’ll try doing the secret levels.

Re: Bugs: One had me redo a whole level, and it wasn’t clear to me it was a bug till I watched a video.
This is extra disappointing coming from Silksong where I encountered 0 bugs in over 90h of gameplay vs ~10 here—especially when it’s published by Dotemu & NG is a very known IP with KT oversight

It’s also a speedrunner dream with a lot of unlockables and replayability 👾
👎🏼: A few but annoying late-game bugs 🐞

It’s not super polished unfortunately. At least in the Switch version there are quite a few of cut off strings for challenges, and I came across a progression blocking bug on Act 4-5, almost at the end of the game. I hope it’ll be patched

I’m really enjoying this game. The blue/pink enemy- and weapons-coded give it a Ikagura feel that is very well executed. It’s very responsive and it’s combo-based structure is dream for speedrunners. Not my case though, but maybe will try to get S rank in a couple of the easier levels.

Hades 2 has a higher metacritic though, and IGN just put it on the top of their best roguelikes of all time, with the original Hades being number 3. I’d be fine with any of them winning. I’m only playing H2 when I receive my physical preorder though but I know I’ll eat it up.

Other possible nominees from big studios will likely be KC: Deliverance II, Death Stranding 2, DK Bananza, and Split Fiction. I don’t anticipate any of the 3 big MS titles released this month to cause much buzz, although I’m pretty excited for Ninja Gaiden 4 and getting it D1.

By now it’s pretty safe to assume GOTY conversations will gravitate around indie titles: Clair Obscur, Hades 2, and Silksong—maybe even Blue Prince.
I think the industry will choose Clair Obscur cause it looks like a AAA game—would they have the balls to award GOTY to 2D 20—30$ titles? À suivre.

Oliver and i finished The Rocky Horror Show Video Game 👾
I honestly don’t get the overwhelmingly positive reviews. It’s mediocre and can be frustrating even if it takes about an hour to finish. I do like the chiptunes versions and some pixel art. Maybe if I were high? A 5/10 at best☝🏼
