The fact of the matter is that trump only cares about trump. Everything he touches eventually turns to fecal matter and he couldn’t care less about the lives he’s destroyed. The majority of people in this country find his policies wildly unpopular. His response - double down. ‘Don’t tell me’.

As a psychologist I know a good compromise is based not solely on what you will get, but what you will give when negotiating. Trump told his people not to negotiate with Dems, he & they refuse to give anything. Their tactic: we must win and you must lose! Done that all his life and never changes
