Two things I want to see in more books, which might seem at odds but are not:

1. Let protagonists be "unlikable" again. A character can be misguided, or imperfect in their approach. We can still root for them.

2. Let protagonists be heroes again. Not anti-heroes, not villains. Heroes.

I'm actually hopeful for the new medication I'm gonna start, I've NEVER had a doctor take my RLS seriously (or. even acknowledge that restless leg syndrome existed. at all) and like???? what if?? it goes away, even a little??????? WHAT WILL THAT DO FOR MY SLEEP..??
